जीवन में सफलता के लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण होता है सत्य। अगर इंसान के स्वभाव, व्यवहार, विचार और बातों में सत्य ना हो तो उसका पूरा अस्तित्व ही झूठ हो जाता है। सच की हमारे ग्रंथों ने बड़ी महिमा गाई है। सच बोलने से बड़ा कोई व्रत नहीं माना गया है। राजा हरिश्चंद्र, भगवान राम, युधिष्ठिर जैसे कई पौराणिक नायक हैं, जिन्होंने सत्य के महत्व को समाज में स्थापित किया है।
